Sports4Peace at the UNO
Geneva, Switzerland 27th May 2005
In the region of fifty diplomats and officials at the UN-conference were impressed by the outcomes and effects of Sports4Peace and it’s educational application with the dice. The chairmen Michael Kleiner and Giovanni di Cola expressed the desire to support Sports4Peace and requested that the initiative be presented at the UN-headquaters in New York „because of its originality and its pedagogical quality.”


„golden rule” soccer tournament
London, England January 2005
In the city district of „Welwyn Garden City” more than 100 children, most of them with a muslim origin, participated in a Sports4Peace soccer tournament. At the beginning the „golden rule” was presented and before every match a Sports4Peace rule was chosen with the dice. At the end many parents were very grateful and emphasised „that with this event they could find a positive approach to their faith.”
„Sport and Joy”
Trient, Italy 17th September 2005
During their conference „Sport and Joy,” the city of Trient in northern Italy ran a sport and games festival under the guideline of Sports4Peace. Approximately 300 children, parents and teachers were highly enthusisatic in taking up this challenge.


„Fairplay World Festival”
Linz, Austria - 22nd June 2005
At the first „Fairplay World Festival” Sports4Peace was presented in the stadium to over 10,000 student participants. Toni Polster, former soccer professional, and the responsible politicians have promised their support with spreading the concept.


„Sport&More”
Bad Ischl, Austria - July 2004
400 young people during the summercamp „sport&more” tried to put the six Sports4Peace rules into practice during sports and games. The dice became the basics for their everyday life and made the week to an unforgetable experience.


1000 „run for peace”
Hall, Austria October 2005
More than 1,000 participants throughout Austria „ran for peace.” All entrance and sponsorship money was used to support a school project in Africa and two local youth projects, which were damaged during recent floods.

Since September 2004 Sports4Peace has been supported by „sportmeet for a united world”, an international platform of sports teachers, officials and trainers. Sportmeet tries to extend the values developed through sports and games to the whole of society, nuturing a spirit of fraternity and solidarity.
